Site rules

Please familiarise yourselves with the Pioneer Centre’s site rules. click here
The Pioneer Centre is a nut-free and alcohol-free zone.  These items should not be brought on to the site.

Please be aware that room keys should be returned on departure.  The Pioneer Centre levies a fine of £25 if keys are lost or not signed back in to a member of the organising team by Sunday lunchtime.

Children

Parents, we would like to remind you that your children remain your responsibility at all times whilst on site. They will be supervised during creche and children’s group times, however, once they have been collected, you will need to ensure their safety around the Centre.
If they are taking part in the afternoon activities, you will also need to ensure that they have a nominated adult accompanying them.

Your essential kit list

  • Towels and toiletries: bring your own, as the Centre does not provide them
  • Cakes or biscuits to share, bought or homemade.  We have permission from the Centre for this.  Please provide an ingredients list if homemade and remember, no nuts
  • Suitable outdoor clothes for whatever you have booked or are planning to do on Saturday afternoon: walk, golf (bring those clubs!) or the Pioneer Centre activities.
  • Indoor shoes or slippers
  • Bible, notebook and pen
  • Board games or puzzles to share
  • Table tennis bats & ping pong balls
  • If you have any preloved Christian books that you would like to swap or donate, we will be organising a ‘bring, browse and rehome’ table!

Please remember to wear suitable clothes for these activities, 4 of which take place outside:
  • Abseil and zip wire
  • Aerial trek course (think mini ‘Go Ape’)
  • Fan drop
Inside:
  • Archery
  • Inflatable Challenge (for age 5 upwards)
