Church Services

At St Nicolas we usually hold two services on Sunday and an additional midweek service on a Thursday.
See the descriptions below for more details.

Main Morning Service (10am)

Our Main Morning Service starts at 10am in the Church. This service is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship. Holy Communion is usually celebrated on 4th Sunday.
StNicsKids runs in the hall for ages 0-10, and Pathfinders meet in St Nic's House for ages 11-13.
the Six

Contemporary Evening Worship (6pm)

This informal service with a blend of modern worship songs, teaching from the Bible and prayer is held in the church hall. Holy Communion is celebrated once a month, currently on the first Sunday.  The Firm, our youth group for 14-18s, meet together at 5.30pm at St Nic's House. They join the service in hall before their own meeting straight afterwards.

Benefice Choral Evensong (6pm, 1st Sunday,
St Mary's Church, Speen)

This is the traditional evensong service from the Book of Common Prayer.  As we start up again after the various lockdowns, we hold our Choral Evensong once a month on the first Sunday. Please join us in the peaceful setting of St Mary’s Speen.

Holy Communion (Thursday, 10.30am)

A traditional service of Holy Communion.
