  • Experience the care of a Christian community.

Foundations (Tuesdays, 9:45 - 11.00am)

Foundations is a group of women who meet weekly during term time in St Nicolas Upper Hall in order to encourage each other through the challenges of life we chat, study the Bible and pray together. Babies and pre-school children are welcome and a crèche is available.

In autumn 2022 we will be looking at the Bible Course. The videos and workbook will give you the skills and tools to help you get to grips with the Bible so you can apply it to your life. For more information email ellen@huntersmart.co.uk.

Women's Breakfast event

Women's Breakfasts

Women's breakfasts happen about 4 times a year at 8.30am on Saturday mornings.  The breakfasts are a wonderful time of fellowship where we enjoy a relaxing meal and hear an engaging speaker.

Our next breakfast is Saturday 21 January 2023 at 8.30am in the church hall. We are delighted that our speaker is Rev Liz Jackson, Associate Archdeacon for Berkshire. She will share something of her journey of faith with us, and her experience working with homeless people, refugees and asylum seekers – previously in the Coventry area and now here in Berkshire.

Please join us for an inspirational talk, good company and good food - including porridge to warm us on a January Saturday! No charge, but donations welcome.  Click here to book your place!

To join the mailing list to hear about our breakfasts and other Women's events, please email office@st-nics.org.

The women at St Nicolas also meet for one-off events such as craft evenings and 'coffee and chat' in people's homes. A women's weekend is also run occasionally, which is a good opportunity to spend more time together and grow in our faith in God.
