Loose Ends is a drop-in centre in Newbury serving food to the homeless and vulnerable, 5 days a week.
It is run by about 60 volunteers who prepare and serve healthy, hot meals in a safe and friendly atmosphere that is so greatly valued. They also offer mini food parcels, toiletries and clean clothes to all in need.

Demand for their services increased significantly during the recent lockdowns (from 120 meals a week to 350). They hope to be able to increase their opening hours again over the winter period.

Loose Ends started in 1990 and have been running operations from the hall at Newbury Baptist Church. Due to redevelopment of the Baptist Church, they are now in the process of relocating.  They are seeking financial contributions to help with the considerable expense of their move to new premises in the town as well as meeting the ongoing running costs of providing for the homeless and vulnerable in Newbury in 2022 and beyond.
Your Christmas gift will provide essential funds for Loose Ends in this exciting new stage of relocation, allow them to continue serving nutritional meals and distributing other essentials in a vital safe space, and help them to further improve and develop their services to their clients in the future.
