Children

Welcome to StNicsKids!

Here at St Nic's, children are highly valued and we are passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with them in an environment that is safe, loving and great fun. In partnership with parents, we long to see the children become devoted to God and excited about being full members of the church family. St Nic's is committed to the safety of children and works within a Child Protection Policy agreed by the PCC. For more information regarding StNicsKids please see our noticeboard at the back of church contact Amba via amba@st-nics.org.

Sparklers (ages 0-3)

Sparklers is our Sunday group for 0-3’s. We start at 10am together in the church before heading over to the Upper Hall for craft, snack and a Bible story time. Parents/carers are welcome to stay with their child(ren) or drop them off, signing them in/out. There will be a Leader and various helpers each session.

All Stars and Comets (ages 4-10)

On as Sunday morning, Comets is the place to be for 4 & 5 year olds (from the term after their 4th Birthday to end of Reception Year). We start at 10am together in the church before heading over to the Upper Room. Look out for Fiona or Mark who will be leading the sessions!

All Stars is our group for those in School Years 1-5. We start at 10am together in the church before heading over to the hall foyer, where the Leaders will meet and register the children.  Year 4 & 5 will then head up to the Balcony for their Bible teaching before joining Year 1-3 in the Hall for a range of activities including craft, games, sport, challenge, prayer & song.

AllAge

All Age Services

Throughout the year, we routinely gather as a church family for the duration of the 10am service for an All Age service. These usually fall on celebration Sundays or Half Term weekends and typically last for 45 minutes. They have an interactive, engaging style that is especially suitable for children & families.

Outside of term time, where there is no separate children’s work or an All Age service running, we encourage families to join in with the regular service together. The pop-up creche is available for under 4’s at the back of church on these dates and booklets for primary school aged children relating to the sermon topic will be available for children to explore.
